FAQs

What is a Tipple and Paint event?

A Tipple and Paint event is a fun, creative and social painting class where participants drink while they create art.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself and your friends. All art materials will be supplied. Do bring an old shirt or an apron to wear as you’ll be working with acrylic paints.

How long is a Tipple & Paint session?

Each session lasts for 2 or 3 hours, unless specified otherwise. Either way, the time will fly because you’ll be having so much fun.

Should I book in advance?

Yes. Booking is essential for our Tipple & Paint sessions as places are limited and are often filled weeks in advance.

Are children allowed at the events?

All participants at Tipple & Paint public events must be 18 or over unless stated otherwise (for one of our ‘Family Friendly’ sessions). We can host private kids’ parties so if you’re interested in having young ones attend, please let your artist know.

Can I host a private event at Tipple & Paint?

Of course! Tipple & Paint strive to provide the best private event experience possible. We cater for all types of special occasions, including:

  • Birthdays (kids and adults)
  • Hen Dos
  • Team-building events
  • Corporate events
  • Kitchen teas
  • Product launches
  • Brand partnerships
What happens if I am running late?

Main thing is not to worry and get to your session safely. If you are running late, we’ll make sure you are all caught up and help you throughout the evening.

If I come with a friend, will we be sitting together?

Tipple & Paint will do their best for you to be next to or very near each other. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed.

If you have any other special requests please don’t be shy, get in touch! We want everyone to have the best experience possible at Tipple & Paint.

Do we have to copy the host’s artwork exactly?

Not at all! Tipple & Paint are all about helping you master the fun of art – our step-by-step instructions are more of a guide.

Can we bring our own drinks and snacks?

Unfortuantely not, no. Drinks can be purchased at the bar. Snacks too, and maybe full meals (depending on time and venue).

If you have special dietary needs, please contact the venue for them to accommodate you accordingly.

Can I have a discount?

Discount codes will be made available from time to time, but you have to be part of the email gang – so sign up using one of the forms on this page to get access when we release them.

Any bookings for eight people or more are eligible for a 10% discount – please use GROUPBOOKINGS as a reference.

How do I book?

Email Sholée Parry at active1sthf@gmail.com and state which date/s you wish to attend.

Once I have booked, what happens next?

You will receive an event email with bank transfer details. Don’t forget to jot the dates down in your diary too.

Can I come into the venue to make a booking?

We have extremely limited spots available, so booking in advance is essential.

We fill up sometimes weeks in advance, so get in quick!

Also we have to pre-order the art resources for all.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my booking?

We’re happy to cancel or reschedule your booking for £15 non-negotiable fee* per transaction/ticket up to 48 hours before your scheduled session time (this is to cover our costs in buying materials for you).

When rescheduling, you’ll need to choose your next most convenient session date that’s available.

What If I don't show up on my booked event?

If you don’t show up for the class, Tipple & Paint will charge you the full amount.

We are unable to refund, reschedule or provide credit for a missed session.

Your ticket cannot be used to reschedule/cancel after the session has already commenced.

What if I have to cancel/reschedule a booked private function?

Private function deposits are non-refundable.

If you paid the full amount and there is more than two weeks before the session date, we’ll reschedule your private function to another date suitable for yourself and Tipple & Paint.

Will I receive a refund for a booked private function?

Tipple & Paint are unable to refund or reschedule private functions within the two weeks before your session date. This is because of the materials we will have bought in order to run the session successfully.

The full amount will be forfeited. We hope this never has to happen.
